    Sunday

How was your Fourth of July?
    The weather was beautiful.

I spent the morning replacing a few plants in my patio area that had seen better days.  In the afternoon, we had burgers.  My niece was here for a few days.  They joined us for a ball game and pizza on Thursday, lunch on Friday, and the festivities on Saturday.  Heather and I even snuck out for a girls' night and caught a movie (My Sister's Keeper - tear jerker).

It was so great having them around and just spending time together.  Hannah is 8 and Connor is 4...but even with the age differences, all four kids just took to one another.  Pictures on my other blog.  Wish they didn't live so far away...but think we're going to pay them a visit on our vacation next month for some more family fun.

    Thu Nite

Austin won his game, so the season continues.
    Final score...8-2.
My niece and her family joined us at the game and we had a fun time catching up and cheering.  We had pizza afterwards and Connor just couldn't stay awake for the picture...to cute.

    Thursday

At the shop...first lull of the day.
Thanks to all of you who came out today for the sale.
The new BG Lemonade product arrived, is now kitted and will not last long.
I am going to put some projects together with it this afternoon if it stays quiet.
If you're reading this, if it's Thursday (7/2), and not 5pm yet, there are still a few free make-n-takes left for those purchasing over $40 (pre-discount/pre-tax).

Boys had a double sleep-over last night.  Always interesting.  Three mega heavy sleepers in my house.  And while I'm not necessarily a light sleeper, unfamiliar noises do wake me up...and there were lots of those last night.  And then there was Andrew, who had too much Captn' Crunch and popcorn while watching movies last night...I'll save you the details.

All-star baseball game tonight...my niece and her family from AZ are here visiting and going to join us at the game.  I'll post some pics later. :)

    Tuesday

My boys decided to switch rooms today.  What an ordeal.
But I tried to stay out of it and let it be their ordeal.
Austin had a very small bedroom with a cool loftbed with desk underneath.
Andrew, bunkbeds in the large bedroom with his beloved drum set.
Andrew decided he would love a desk and Austin decided he needed more room.  Anyway, they commenced to moving.  It took most of the day and then some.  But Austin was such a picture of pride as he finished vaccuuming his "new" room.  And Andrew was really a nice big bro today, helping Austin sort his things, deciding what to get rid of and what to keep, and where to put it all.  Austin can be rather sentimental about "stuff."  I think they both are...I tried to get Andrew to get rid of some stuffed animals and he quickly found a place up in the closet for them before I could head to the door with them.  He would be mortified if he knew I'd told you!  So here it is, going on 1am, the house is a shambles, I'm up to my eyeballs in class kits, but my boys are sleeping soundly in their new, organized, clean bedrooms.

    How do you spell relief???

    n-o--m-i-g-r-a-i-n-e !

phew...I am so glad to be feeling better.  Lots of work to catch up on now.  My house...well, I'm just going to have to close my eyes for a few days and bear the mess.  Better yet, think I'll get my boys busy on it.  If they can make the mess, can't they clean it up?  A mom can dream, can't she?  :)

Well, I'm going to get busy on Thursday's make-n-take (see info on it below).

    Sunday

Not the best weekend...down all day with a really bad migraine.
A bummer, especially with all the sunshine happening outside.
Hope you got out to enjoy some of it.

Any of you interested in the upcoming crop, it's all day and night on Saturday, July 11.  Cost is $40 and includes snacks and beverages all day as well as lunch, a great goodie bag, your own table, and some fun prizes.  I will have some page kits available for purchase that day also, so you don't have to think too hard to get pages done if you don't feel like it.

Next class is a Make It Mini scheduled for Thursday, July 9, and there is still a little bit of room in it if you'd like to sign up.
